Key Role:
Conduct information security and cybersecurity analysis activities that encompass planning, executing, and overseeing security protocols to safeguard classified information systems and infrastructure. Secure classified cybersecurity assets and provide services such as classified network incident detection, incident response, cyber threat assessment, software security, and vulnerability assessments. Perform technical assessments of classified systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave. Identify systems and networks that deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy, and perform the needed remediation actions. Implement stringent management procedures to mitigate risks and communicate residual risk to stakeholders. Support procedures, analysis, coordination, security certification tests, security documentation, investigations, cybersecurity inspections, and periodic audits involving classified data. Perform vulnerability scans of classified networks and applications to assess control effectiveness and drive remediation of weaknesses. Monitor systems and procedures to protect classified data systems and databases from unauthorized access. Monitor and analyze cybersecurity alerts from cybersecurity tools, network devices, and information systems. Perform analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards. Actively monitor, analyze, and respond to classified network and host security events. Support preparation of the system Security Plans and update the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA & M). Regularly perform a comprehensive review of classified system audits and oversee corrective actions.Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of technical experience on classified networksExperience applying ICD 503 and ICD 504 guidelines to classified systemsTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphHS diploma or GEDAbility to obtain IAM Level II Certification, including CAP, GSLC, CISM, CASP, CISSP, or CCISO Certifications, within 6 months of hire dateAdditional Qualifications:
Experience with secure communication protocols, such as TLS/SSL, IPsec, and secure email (S/MIME), to protect classified communicationsKnowledge of the NIST Special Publication 800-53 guidelines for securing federal information systems and organizationsPossession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsPossession of excellent communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders and report findingsBachelor's degree in a technology fieldDoD 8140 IAM Level I or higher CertificationClearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.Compensation:

The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
