Power BI Analyst

to join their vibrant, dynamic, and growing practice. Today, we help companies tackle some of the world’s most critical and complex issues, including retirement funding and healthcare financing, risk management and regulatory compliance, data analytics and business transformation.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions.Perform data analysis and data validation.Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements and deliver comprehensive BI solutions.Ensure compliance with all Milliman required Quality Risk Management requirements.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Visualization, or related fields.5+ years of related work experience.Proven experience with Power BI and other BI technologies. Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and Power Query is preferred, but not required.Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.Competencies and Behaviors that Support Success in this RoleAdept at queries, presenting findings in interesting and convincing visuals.Knowledge of healthcare analytics platforms and processing environments including Graphical User Interfaces, Batch, and APIs.Experience with SAS, SQL, and other programming languages is a plus.Proven expertise using Microsoft Office applications, Excel, and pivot tables.Experience using Power Query and writing DAX.Familiarity with dimensional data modeling and data warehouse concepts.Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, lake house architecture, ETL processes, and capacity management.The TeamMilliman is one of the leading experts in healthcare financing and delivery. This role is based out of the Milliman office in our Brookfield, WI, Chicago, IL, or Hartford, CT office, but candidates hired into this role may work remotely anywhere in the US.The expected application deadline for this job is January 17, 2025.Salary:

The salary range for this role is $79,000 - $161,000, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.At Milliman, we focus on creating an environment that recognizes – and meets – the personal and professional needs of the individual and their family.
