This is an on-ground position at our San Jose, CA Campus.Basic FunctionThe primary functions of the NCLEX Integration/Retention Coordinator are to prepare students for learning in the classroom environment, manage the classroom environment, and perform educational administrative tasks. The Coordinator is also responsible for ensuring instructors properly prepare students for each test or examination, that instructors are prepared for their courses in advance, that the curriculum follows the instructional plan, and that any necessary supporting classroom materials are prepared and ready prior to instruction.Student management includes overseeing instructor involvement to ensure satisfactory academic progress is maintained, as well as assigning appropriate tutoring support. The Coordinator will keep student marks, attendance, remediation documentation, and other advisory forms up to date. Additionally, instructor evaluation, educational in-service plans, evaluations (student and managerial), goal setting, and advisory forms should also be kept current. It is important that the NCLEX Integration Coordinator ensures faculty develop the ability to keep students motivated while maintaining the expected standards of the profession through appropriate counseling.RequirementsRegistered NurseBachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited schoolA minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse2+ years of teaching experience is recommendedSalary Range, Full-Time: $89,000-$105,000
