Reporting to the Associate Director of Center for Student Involvement (CSI), the Assistant Director – Student Organizations is a full-time professional staff member in CSI. They provide strategic oversight for over 600 registered student organizations (RSOs), coordinate two involvement fairs, advise an organization that provides peer support for RSOs and their leaders, and review and implement relevant policies.Essential Functions

AdvisingServe as the advisor for a student organization, SAB, that supports, guides, and helps promote all RSOs and RSO leaders.Weekly one-on-one meetings with student leaders.Attend weekly SAB evening meetings.Provide consultation to students seeking to get involved in student organizations.Registered Student Organization SupportAssist in the development of 600+ RSOs.Coordinate the registration process for all student organizations.Maintain RSO tier system & compliance in collaboration with Associate Director.Conduct annual RSO Advisor Training and semester round tables in collaboration with Program Manager.Work collaboratively with program managers to determine RSO funding eligibility.Maintain and update RSO and Advisor resources to ensure all policies and procedures are relevant and compliant with Federal, State, and University regulations.Assist with Collin’s Law, Title IX, & Clery initiatives.Serve as office contact for RSO conduct matters.Support the development and implementation of new student organization training workshop, in partnership with the Student Activities Board.Coordinate semester involvement fairs.Develop career readiness initiatives for student organization community.Assist with departmental and programmatic assessment for RSOs.Essential Functions (Cont'd)

Serve on the CSI Leadership Team.Manage operational expenses within an established budget.Assist with coordination/execution of student employee trainings.Assist in efforts to achieve annual CSI office-wide goals.SupervisionRequired Education

Bachelor's Degree.Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.Required Experience

Three (3) years related experience.Additional Qualifications Considered

Experience with Anthology Engage platform or other student engagement software.Physical Requirements/Work Environment
