This position is responsible for developing, administering, and monitoring programs for compliance with laws, regulations, and rules governing operations and product offerings. Will reviews Bank's policy and procedures for compliance and act as the bank's Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Officer.Essential duties include:Develops, administers and monitors the Bank's compliance program to ensure the bank's compliance with laws, regulations and rules governing banking.Responsible for compliance review and audit to formulate practical review functions to be incorporated into operational procedures, resulting in safety, soundness, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.Develops and performs an annual risk-based audit schedule ensuring that those areas with greatest potential risk receive appropriate audit attention.Develops and maintains a BSA program that is in compliance with the regulations. Maintains proficient knowledge of the current Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance climate, including BSA, USA Patriot Act, and OFAC regulations.Develops an annual compliance communication and training schedule/program that covers appropriate topics. Training topics will provide a complete overview of the compliance function to all employees with more focused topics for areas that deal with compliance issues in their daily job function.Understands practical internal audit functions to be incorporated into operational procedures, resulting in safety, soundness, and operational efficiency.WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am – 4:30pm; exempt. Position is on-site at our Minneapolis office. One day a week for work-from-home opportunities may be available after an initial training period.Required Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent work experience4+ years of compliance experience4+ years of Bank Secrecy Act experienceAbility to pass a pre-employment background checkRegular and reliable attendance at the workplaceWHO WE ARE:
