Monitor game operations to ensure that house rules are followed, that state, and federal regulations are adhered to, and that employees provide prompt and courteous service.Handle all irregularities and disputes that cannot be handled by floor supervisors.Report abnormal or suspicious activity to surveillance and/or security.Approve all casino staff schedules.Manage team members, resolve guest issues, and communicate with all levels of management.Coordinate with departments to ensure total customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.Ensure compliance with federal and state gaming regulations.Maintain visual presence on casino floor.Enforce corrective action against individuals caught cheating.Maintain familiarity with the games at a facility and with strategies or tricks used by cheaters at such games.Evaluate employee performance and prepare written performance evaluations.Monitor stations and games and move dealers from game to game to ensure adequate staffing.Establish policies on types of gambling offered, odds, or extension of credit.Review operational expenses, budget estimates, betting accounts, or collection reports for accuracy.The duties listed are not set forth for the purposes of limiting the assignment of work. Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. Must possess the strong leadership and problem solving skills needed to control the operation of a gaming establishment.Licenses: Must obtain and maintain a Key Employee License from the Bureau of Gambling Control.Work Experience: Five (5) plus years of prior experience in the casino industry.Must possess an ability to work with minimal supervision and make educated ethical decisions as necessary. Must be able to resolve conflicts and have effective communication skills with all levels of employees and be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment. Must demonstrate an ability to work independently and to prepare detailed professional correspondence, memoranda, policies, procedures and regulations related to the employee’s duties. A general knowledge of the Windows based computer operating systems is also required.
