Within the ASP is Partner Foundations (APF), which includes two distinct organizations, Partner Core and ASP Tech. Partner Core is responsible for designing, delivering, and governing the AWS Partner Network (APN) value exchange with AWS. ASP Tech is comprised of technical advisors to Partners in the APN and our customers to enable solution-led capabilities at scale.We are seeking a Business Planning & Sales Operations Lead, to serve as strategic business partner and advisor to APF leadership, extended sales operations teams, and peer organizations, to lead and evolve operational excellence of the APF organization. In this highly visible role, a successful candidate will excel at earning trust of senior leaders through relationship building and measurable performance. You will think strategically and analytically about business challenges and aligning priorities, having the foresight to anticipate business needs, make trade-offs, and balance business dynamics despite constraints. As a data-driven company, you will leverage data to drive and influence strategic decisions to ensure leadership has the necessary information to operate and execute achieving the organization’s strategic objectives.This role leverages broad operational and technical skills as the strategic backbone of the ASP Partner Foundations organization. The ideal candidate will function within a highly collaborative and cross-functional structure, working across a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders, while managing a team to deliver data-driven insights, operational efficiency, and innovative solutions that drive customer impact and business growth.A successful candidate has experience managing complex global programs in large, multi-national, preferably tech organizations, and has strong financial acumen, sales strategy experience, communication skills, and a deep analytical background. You have a strong record of building and developing high performing teams, defining, and executing the operational roadmap.To succeed in this role, you will have the ability to manage through ambiguity and complexity as well as a demonstrated ability to influence without explicit authority, attention to detail, and willingness to be hands-on. You are a proactive and action-oriented self-starter with a bias towards independent problem solving, identifying, and eliminating bottlenecks. You can effectively navigate ambiguity and manage competing objectives in a lean, fast-paced organization.Key job responsibilities

Apply an organization-wide leadership lens to translate strategic directions and priorities into short and long-term business plans, incorporating opportunities for scalable growth.Set the strategic vision, create business predictability, and drive execution across three pillars: Rhythm of the Business (RoB), Annual Planning, and Business Analytics & Insights.Define, build, and lead the end-to-end mechanisms that support annual planning, goals planning, forecasting, and strategic priorities (e.g. OP1, OP2); inform goals, priorities, metrics, processes, and mechanisms to ensure the highest standards are achieved.Develop and implement operational strategies, mechanisms, and procedures to optimize business performance and drive productivity and efficiency, identifying gaps, risk mitigation, and uncovering opportunities.Create, implement, automate, and drive the global standardization of business processes, tools, and/or reporting, templates, methods, and cadences, including identifying and eliminating ineffective controls and procedures, and driving the cross-pollination of best practices across business segments.Establish dashboards, reports, and executive review documents that will drive business outcomes and strive for operational excellence; implement best practices for data insights and reporting including driving data hygiene and automation.Collaborate closely with functional stakeholders and Partner Intelligence team to ascertain business asks/needs, and to drive standardization, prioritization and automation of metrics, data, reporting, and dashboards.Develop deep relationships and earn trust within Partner Foundations, Partner Management, Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Field Sales, Finance, HR, and other business partners.Prepare and present business papers to senior leadership with limited guidance using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and/or solution proposals.Serve as a leader and point of contact to manage escalations and lead resolutions.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent- 7+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience- 7+ years of Microsoft Excel experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Understanding of cloud economics and/or experience working with cloud services.- 2+ years’ experience using business intelligence tools to develop data and dashboards (e.g. QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, Domo); ability to write and debug SQL queries.- Experience in preparing and presenting data-driven documents, communicating complex concepts, and translating the results into actionable insights, deliverables, and outcomes.- Demonstrated analytical skills with an independent ability to perform queries, working with large, complex data sets, data mining, inspection, and root cause analysis.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
