And we want you.We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation rotor-craft.This position is onsite in Fort Worth, TX.Aircraft Integration Team (AIT)Bring your experience and ideas and help us develop the layout and installation of equipment and conveyance systems on manned and optionally manned aircraft.You’ll work with requirements and best practices to optimize the location and installation for minimum weight and maximum maintainability.This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with other Integrated Product Teams (IPT’s) and subcontractors. You’ll be able to hone your technical abilities on significant engineering problems, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication.What you’ll be doing as an Aircraft Integration Engineer:Responsible for overseeing the preparation, initial release, and revision of 3D installation datasets.Responsible for systems provisioning and coordinating interface requirements with Airframe Design and other Systems Design IPTs.Establish and enforce systems installation requirements such as minimum line clearance and system separation.Develop, test and document new procedures for relational design and model-based definition techniques for Catia.Track and report progress to AIT Leader.Skills You Bring To this Role:Must be proficient in 3D modeling using CATIA or similar software.Capability of interfacing with other IPT members to establish system installation and operation requirements.Excellent communicator, must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and other IPT members, as well as brief leaders/customers.What you need to be successful:We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.
