Manage the maintenance of Lennar’s fleet of aircraft, including but not limited to performing regular physical inspections and directing contractors and service providers in the inspection and upkeep of aircraft and equipment.
Your Responsibilities on the Team
Manages the preparation for and accomplishment of airframe, engine and avionics systems maintenance.
Oversees line service functions such as fueling, towing, washing, etc.
Coordinates with all non-company personnel or Approved Maintenance Organizations performing maintenance on company aircraft with Manager of Maintenance Operation, DOM, and CAM, and conduct vendor evaluations for outside maintenance.
Ensures that complete records of all inspections, repairs and component changes, airframe flight time, engine times, AD notes, Service letters from the airframe, engine and component manufacturers, and FAA maintenance instructions are accurately maintained.
Ensures compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins affecting company aircraft.
Ensures operational readiness of the aircraft with as little schedule impact as practical.
Performs internal audits of tool calibration and material control and ensure that adequate tools, parts, materials, support equipment, and facilities are available to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Able to travel to locations, in all weather conditions, in order to perform repairs.
Interface and communicate with the client, vendors and other internal departments while coordinating the requirements of maintaining the aircraft.
Review and approve invoices generated for assigned aircraft and reconcile invoices with vendors and process to the accounting department for payment.
Must be able to travel for training or other company requirements.
Requirements
Must hold and maintain FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (A&P).
Minimum of 10 years of inspection, troubleshooting and repair of large category transport aircraft. (Exception - an individual that has been to a OEM initial training course for that airframe and has an Airframe and Powerplant license.)
Experienced in Bombardier airframes and related powerplants.
Experience in providing budgets and projections of corporate aircraft for scheduled, nonscheduled and interior upkeep or required modifications.
Detail oriented, with excellent organizational and task management skills.
Must be able to communicate concisely and effectively both verbally and in email/written communication.
Must be able to adhere to pre-employment and random drug & alcohol screening.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic PC skills, including proficiency with Yardi, Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
Ten or more years of experience in aviation maintenance and management.
Interact well with co-workers.
Experience reviewing bids, invoices, and preparing schedules.
Basic good judgment, high moral and ethical standards.
