The
Supplier Tax & Regulatory Manager
will oversee and manage federal and state tax regulations, including requirements to file government forms such as 1099 for U.S. payees and its counterpart Form 1042-S for non-U.S. persons. This role will ensure that the company adheres to applicable tax laws and regulations while optimizing tax strategies for supplier transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of tax regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely.
ResponsibilitiesTax Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations related to supplier transactions, including income tax, sales tax, and VAT.
Regulatory Oversight:
Monitor and interpret changes in tax laws and regulations that affect supplier operations and recommend necessary adjustments.
Supplier Engagement:
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure they understand and comply with relevant tax and regulatory requirements.
Risk Management:
Identify and assess tax risks associated with supplier contracts and transactions, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
Audit Support:
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during tax audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
Reporting:
Prepare and present tax-related reports and analyses to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Policy Development:
Develop and implement tax policies and procedures related to supplier management.
Training:
Conduct training sessions for internal stakeholders and suppliers on tax compliance and regulatory requirements.

QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in related or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 7 years progressive work experience within finance organization(s) and/or healthcare, research and/or non-profit a plus
5 years direct experience with IRS non-employee reporting and accountable/non-accountable plan
Demonstrated ability to execute and successfully achieve objectives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams and Outlook
Excellent organizational, analytical, judgment and supervisory skills; capability to work effectively with team, partners and senior management

The annual base salary range for this position is from $102,420 to $161,865, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
