The position will be focused on ensuring compliance with all contracts and proposals across Seattle Social Services as well as being knowledgeable on laws, regulations, and guidelines governing government funding. This position will receive supervision from the Accounting Manager.Duties & Responsibilities
Write contract letters and other communication and noticesPull reports into Excel and understand the data for reportingUse basic Excel formulas for spreadsheets to make data easy to readPull, read, and understand financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basisProcess invoices for multiple departments from multiple locations and organizationsNegotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to agreementsDevelop, implement, and refine processes and procedures for contract and grant administrationCreate grant and contract invoicing, utilizing appropriate codingTrack, collect, and manage data as requiredMaintain paperwork and other related documents connected to grants and/or contractsSupport Program Managers in understanding and implementing the requirements of grants and contracts that fund their programsOperate as the subject matter expert for all Seattle Social Services related grants and contractsMonitor program outcomes to assure contracts are on track to meet objectivesAssist with building and administration of agreements between partner organizationsResearch and prepare grant applications to obtain new fundingImplement and maintain reporting procedures for all fundersMaintain positive contacts and relationships with funders and partner agenciesConsult with the Accounting Manager regarding contract compliance related issues and solutionsPerform other administrative functions as requested.Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree, focus on business preferred. 5+ years' financial and/or contract management experience will also be considered.Three years' experience in contract/grant procurement and/or administration or equivalent experience required.Experience with billing, accounts receivable and GL account coding.A generous benefits package is included with full-time positions: paid holidays, vacation time, sick time, and medical, vision, and dental insurance.Health Insurance:
