Executive Steward
who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha.The Executive Steward reports directly to the Executive Chef and is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the work of employees in our Stewarding Department. The Executive Steward will work closely with the Executive Chef, Director of Food and Beverage, Banquet Chef, Banquet Managers, and Food and Beverage Outlet Managers to coordinate an adequate supply and store of china, silver, glass, and other equipment used in service. The position demands an excellent focus on quality, product versatility and volume.ResponsibilitiesWorks closely with Front of House, Kitchens and Banquets to understand, coordinate, and plan daily needs with agility and flexibilityEnsure the organization of a high volume of different china, glass, and silver itemsMaintain a high standard of hygiene and cleaning proceduresTake a hands-on approach with staff engagement to lead the team to exceed expectationsHolding team members accountable through progressive disciplinePreferred Qualifications and SkillsExperience in Hospitality Organization PreferredStrong ability to lead and train a team to maintain team spirit and quality serviceApproaches situations proactively instead of “do as told”Flexible with changes and challenges and is able to take a creative approachInventory experience, proficient in Excel & Microsoft systemsSalaryThe Salary Range for this position is $85k - $90k USD.About Four Seasons Resort O'ahu at Ko OlinaOn Oahu’s sunny western coast – wild, rugged and conveniently close to Honolulu and Waikiki Beach – five-star Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina balances a classic Hawaiian style with one-of-a-kind luxury.Working at Four SeasonsFour Seasons can offer what many hospitality professionals dream of – an opportunity to build a life-long career with global potential and a real sense of pride in work well done.
