We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement and Inventory Manager to join our team as we continue to grow and expand.Position Overview:As the Procurement and Inventory Manager for Crescent Canna, you will be responsible for purchasing and monitoring a wide range of items including ingredients, supplies, marketing materials, and packaging at multiple locations. Working across multiple teams, the Procurement and Inventory Manager will be a key player in driving the company’s manufacturing activities and ensuring that all purchases contribute to the company’s success, savings, and growth.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all purchasing and inventory activities for the company.Develop and implement efficient purchasing strategies to meet company’s operational needs.Build strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices to ensure the best possible terms.Monitor and track purchasing trends, identifying opportunities for cost-savings and efficiency improvements.Monitor inventory levels to ensure production at multiple sites including co-packers.Evaluate inventory levels to track and reduce waste and spillage.Collaborate with multiple teams in order to monitor cost of goods, forecast future procurement needs and ensure adequate inventory levels.Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.Qualifications:Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a purchasing and inventory role, preferably in a managerial capacity.Strong knowledge of procurement and inventory processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and analyze purchasing trends and evaluate cost of goods.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address issues before they arise.Supply Chain Management is strongly preferred.
