Grimes, IA . From strategic planning to operational excellence, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our dining services, spending 80% of your time in the field to ensure hands-on leadership and direct impact.Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and inspire our team of salaried managers and 60 frontline associates.Drive critical initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and increase profitability.Recruit, train, and develop top talent within the organization.Lead the annual budget and oversee costs effectively.Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and sanitation standards.Build strong relationships with clients, customers, and associates.Market the program and effectively tell its story to engage customers.Hold staff accountable while encouraging an inclusive and engaging culture.Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of the dining service operation.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Food Services Technology/Management/Hospitality preferred or equivalent experience.Or Associates degree in a relevant field of study plus five years of food service management experience.Strong leadership skills with a proven track record to cultivate an inclusive and engaging culture.Experience managing high-demand clients.Solid knowledge of K12 food service experience is highly preferred.Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed services experience.Proficiency in computer skills.Apply to Chartwells Schools today!Chartwells Schools is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
