Office Supervisor

. The right candidate will oversee and manage the daily activities to ensure efficient and timely operations, service deliveries, and expense control. Implements procedures and policies for all administrative activities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned:Oversee administrative and support services, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and effective manner.Assist administrative and support staff with their assigned duties.Supervise the efficient use of office supplies and maintenance of office equipment.Plan and organize the purchase of office supplies in accordance with purchasing policies and budgets.Assist with financial records and files such as reimbursement and expense vouchers.Maintain office records, documentation, and files.Schedule division meetings and daily operations.Supervise all aspects of office maintenance, lighting, and repairs.Coordinate and arrange division dinners and events, flights, hotels, rental cars, and other travel-related requests.Create and distribute weekly reports to executive management and the Division President.Participate in the annual review of the vendors used by the office.Maintain office services such as coffee service, water, Office Depot, UPS, and FedEx accounts.Develop effective working relationships with all departments.Assist with corporate-driven initiatives such as Benefits open enrollment meetings, Camp Horton, Career Fairs, HR events, and the Internship program.Aid other departments when needed.Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company.Ability to work overtime.Ability to travel overnight.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervises 1 employee.QualificationsEducation and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).One year of related experience and/or training.Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications.Proficiency with MS Office and email.Ability to sit for the majority of an 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision.The noise level is generally moderate.Preferred QualificationsAssociate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.JD Edwards experience a plus.Taleo and PeopleSoft knowledge a plus.Ability to multi-task and attention to detail.Come join a winning team with a Fortune 500 company!
