PCI is seeking a Business Development Manager to focus on new account growth and existing account expansion within the West Coast/Rocky Mountain territory. Experience with calibration/instrumentation services and field operations creating proposals, developing scope of work, extensive client interaction and sales metrics reporting highly desired. The Business Development Manager positions are exempt. This position reports directly to the Director/Senior Director, Senior Business Development Manager or Business Development Manager based on organizational need and structure. Travel is required approximately 25-50% annually. Expectations: The Business Development Manager's responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, identifying and connecting with Key Stakeholders and developing appropriate sales reports and Key Performance Indicators for each account assigned. The Business Development Manager is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction with service deliverables. The Business Development Manager is also responsible for service expansion at each existing account and prospecting and developing new accounts; including developing quotes or proposals, assisting the Quality team with customer complaints and CAPAs and is responsible to meet with 10-20 accounts monthly. The Business Development Manager is expected to facilitate and/or provide the field service teams with structured account plans and serve as a liaison between the Business Development organization, Service Teams and customers to ensure an exemplary customer experience. Responsibilities/Assignments for Business Development Manager: Responsible for a region/State/geographical area or Field Service team. Responsible for identifying and converting new business development opportunities. Responsible for participation in local professional organizations (ISPE, PDA, etc.). Under direction from Sr Business Development Manager or Director, executing the Organizational business development strategy. Presenting at Trade shows for professional trade organizations. May have performance review responsibilities depending on the organizational structure. Experience & Education Required for Business Development Manager: A four-year degree in Business Administration, sales or other related experience (or equivalent military/industry training) in sales, account management or client development. Strong customer service skills are required. 3 to 5 years of experience in sales or account management. Salary plus at-risk annual bonus. Expected hiring range $85,000 - $105,000.
