Come for a walk with us today!What You’ll AccomplishOur Supply Chain Planners are responsible for supporting the consumer demand plan through strategic inventory planning with the objective to ensure high fill rates while minimizing obsolescence. In this role, you will collaborate with our demand planning and procurement teams to optimize inventory and encourage asset utilization. You will develop and execute our supply plan, determining priorities and implementing strategies to reduce out-of-stock and over-stock issues. This is a great role for a developing supply chain professional seeking to leverage and continue to develop their analytical and project management abilities while flexing their ability to think strategically and collaborate cross-functionally. Our Supply Chain Planners:Plan inventory purchases needed to meet the forecasted consumer demands as forecastedReport and track inventory levels at our distribution centers and supplier KPIsMonitor inventory level to prevent excess inventoryCollaborate with the broader operations team on key process improvements projects and ideasSupport new product introductionsIdentify inventory constraints due to lead times, transit times, and material shortagesMonitor monthly and weekly production plans, prioritizing certain work ordersTrack inventory levels at our retail distribution centers and allocate product as neededMonitor movement of materials through purchasing, storage, production, and distributionSet preferred stock levels and prevent excess inventoryWho We’re Looking ForTeam Wellie is a group of people who are truly obsessed in all the best ways about winning for the consumer and the pets they love. And so, we are seeking an individual who:Is consumer focused on all they doContinually challenge themselves to go the extra mile to get the job done, and ensure it’s done the right way as opposed to the easy wayHold themselves and others accountableEmbraces continual development through the sharing of feedback and investment in learning opportunities.Is a true collaborator, sharing resources, and engages in healthy debateCelebrates differences and strives to learn from others who are different from themselvesGives back to their community and supports sustainable practicesIn addition, for this specific role, we need someone who possesses:A bachelor's degree in supply chain management or logisticsData modeling and materials planning experienceA minimum of three to five years of ‘retail facing’ demand management and supply chain planning experience within consumer products manufacturing environmentDemonstrated analytical skills, adept at using advanced Excel functions and other analytical toolsAble to lead (without direct-line authority) the broader organization to the achievement of common goalsExperience using ‘commercial off-the-shelf’ planning systems (demand planning, master scheduling, DRP/MRP, ERP)Will be based out of our corporate office in Burlington, Massachusetts three days each week on a synchronized hybrid scheduleWhy Work for Wellness PetWe care about the wellbeing of our people, their families, and their pets.
