Island Helicopters Kauai, Inc. is seeking an exceptional and experienced Helicopter Tour Pilot to provide the highest quality tours on the island of Kauai. Qualified applicants interested in providing tours of Kauai in doors-on, Airbus AS 350 (AStar) aircraft out of the Lihue Airport Heliport, are encouraged to apply.Job Requirements
Required helicopter flight hours may vary depending on experience.Possess good knowledge of FAA Part 135 FAR’s.Must have a valid Commercial Helicopter License.Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.Must currently live on, or be able to relocate to, the island of Kauai.Have exceptional communication skills and provide outstanding guest experience.Speak with others using clear and professional language.Able to communicate well with operations and maintenance team members.Comply with FAA and Island Helicopters’ policies, procedures, expectations, and regulations.Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.Drug test and background check required.Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
