Business Development Manager
role will be responsible for the development of enterprise partnership opportunities for the company in travel consumer-related categories. This person will develop strategies and processes that guide their research and partner prospecting in the fulfillment of quarterly goals. The Business Development Manager will support regular internal reporting and presentations to sales leadership in accordance with the company’s planning. In addition to the fulfillment of KPI’s, this individual will embrace the culture of TPS and continually promote our innovative hospitality and technology service model to our clients and partners.Key Responsibilities:Researches relevant travel segments to identify major commercial partnership opportunitiesLocates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partnersDiscovers and explores business opportunities leveraging relevant data and can assemble strategic and financial recommendations on the viability of prospective partnership programsScreens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financialsAttends and networks at relevant industry events to build relationships with prioritized channel relevant prospectsEmbraces the TPS culture of industry-leading client support and follow-up in all account management and prospect effortsWorks cross-departmentally in the evaluation and implementation of commercial partnershipsExamines risks and potentials for business opportunitiesEstimates partners’ needs and goalsCloses new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with all functional teams in the organizationKnowledge, Skills & Experience Required:7-10+ years of consumer service/product business development experience, preferably in the travel or transportation related verticalsExperience in the affinity/loyalty program industry a plusExperience managing KPI’s and CRM systems for a sales organization in pursuit of annual goalsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointBasic understanding of financial reporting and discounting strategiesAbility to gather and analyze data and develop action plans that are tied to business objectivesExcellent planning, organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate effectively on a “one-on-one” basis and in group presentationsAbility to exemplify leadership behaviors and foster a team selling cultureAdept at accepting and leading change and innovation______At The Parking Spot, we
