Brief Overview:
The ACD-Digital needs to be a mature, creative problem solver with a strong managerial background in CPG. You are as comfortable presenting to a Marketing Director as you are to a retail partner. Working with a scrappy team, it is expected the ACD does not just provide direction to designers, but also executes ideas. Candidates must be able to take an idea from the conceptual phase and bring it to market. This person should have strong experience in working with epic story creators, from copywriters to video directors, and have outstanding writing skills.Job Responsibilities:
In collaboration with the CBO/Creative Director, help lead the global creative digital vision for Munchkin in alignment with marketing, product development, and digital strategies.Ensure execution of a thoughtful creative strategy and positive user interface across multiple digital platforms.Concept, design, and produce engaging strategic content and creative assets across a range of brand projects and touchpoints, including animation and social media.Communicate and interact well with team members and supervisors across multiple departments. Work closely and build relationships with Brand Marketing, Global Marketing, Product Development, E-commerce, and Social Media teams.Drive creative consistency into global markets in digital platforms and ensure consistent application of brand style guides.Manage a team of digital designers, demonstrating enthusiasm for the creative landscape and contributing strong, inspirational creative thinking.Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:
10+ years of experience in a managerial role for digital design teams with significant emphasis on interactive media at a hypergrowth consumer startup or CPG brand.Excellent communication skills, clear and confident in presenting and selling creative ideas.Strong design skills and a portfolio demonstrating modern, playful, original ideas across digital mediums.Ability to concept across various mediums including social and digital.Animation and video production experience, well-versed in the language of the internet and social.Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.Comfortable executing from Insta Stories to short and long-form videos for optimal reach on all platforms.Impeccable taste in music as a storytelling backdrop for motion.Social fluency and understanding of driving conversation and engagement across social channels.Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire creative teams.Strong communication design sensibilities and understanding of composition, information hierarchy, color theory, and typography.Proven creativity in the e-commerce space with successful follow-through from concept to build.Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
