We seek colleagues who are dedicated to critically engaging in their teaching and research; and who see strength in the diversity of our student community.We seek candidates with professional experience in mental health counseling and counseling within K-12 and/or postsecondary educational settings, a record of successful teaching experience at the college level, a demonstrated ability to effectively partner with mental health settings, schools and/or colleges, an established record of scholarship, and a demonstrated ability of successful mentoring of students in research and professional development. Students also have the option to add courses and fieldwork leading for eligibility for the Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) School Counseling Credential (required to work as K-12 School Counselors in California public schools), and a Child Welfare & Attendance Authorization.
