IT Vulnerability Governance Principal

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Vulnerability Governance Principal to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the IT vulnerability governance function, reducing the risk of potential threats and vulnerabilities. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, be a strong communicator and relationship builder, and have extensive experience in information security governance.
What you do
Develop and implement a comprehensive IT vulnerability governance framework to identify, assess, and mitigate potential vulnerabilities across the organization's systems and infrastructure.
Execute day-to-day governance tasks, including problem-solving, issue escalation, monitoring accuracy of reporting, interpreting reporting, and delivering insights to drive action. Develop and maintain process documentation and presentations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain effective vulnerability management processes and procedures.
Conduct regular assessments to identify and prioritize potential security risks.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide actionable insights and recommendations for vulnerability remediation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Provide leadership and guidance on vulnerability governance best practices and industry trends to enhance the organization's security posture.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) is a plus.
Proven experience in information security governance, vulnerability management, and risk assessment within a large enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of industry standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a highly matrixed, complex environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to drive vulnerability governance initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

What you do
