The Head of School (HoS) is the school’s chief executive officer (CEO). The HoS is responsible for carrying out all aspects of the school’s purposes, educational objectives, and policies, as established by the Board and as reflected in the bylaws, and developing internal policy in agreement with the school’s philosophy, mission, values, and goals. The Head of School is accountable to the school board and participates in an annual evaluation process. The Head of the School leads the IA administrative team. Job Description
Responsibilities: Maintain the spiritual climate of the school Assure the development of high-performance standards in educational achievement according to ACSI accreditation standards Ensure the creation and implementation of a comprehensive school development plan Act as the last line of responsibility for student and staff discipline Ensuring excellence in student enrollment, admissions, and retention Oversee school and business operations Maintain visibility with the Board, faculty and staff, students, and parents Serve as liaison between school staff and governance owners Monitor, evaluate and review the policies, priorities, and goals of the school in relationship to the faculty and staff Maintain open and trustworthy communication between the school and parents Oversees the school’s general public relations Maintain positive relationships among the community, alums, parents, and donors on behalf of the school Recruitand hire new faculty and staff Act as the primary supervisor of faculty and staff Qualifications: Masters in School Administration or Christian Leadership Meets ACSI certification requirements Two years of administrative experience Classroom experience, minimum three years How To Apply
