Regional Vice President – North East
The Regional Vice President is accountable for executing the top line revenue and bottom-line net profit growth of each operating location within their respective region. This role is responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and vision to ensure the development and growth of each of their direct reports, as well as their overall region. This position accomplishes these responsibilities through execution of local, regional, and corporate strategic initiatives.
The Regional Vice President reports to MEI’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) and routinely collaborates with the broader senior leadership team.

Culture:
Champions MEI’s corporate vision, values, and culture.
Safety:
Works in partnership with the VP EH&S and is accountable for each operating location’s safety culture, awareness, effectiveness, and risk mitigation.
P&L Accountability:
Accountable for the revenue growth, sales initiatives, and margin goals for their regional offices.
Operational Excellence:
Manages, directs, and is accountable for the operational effectiveness & profitability of their respective region, and the regional offices of which it is comprised, by attaining/exceeding established KPI’s, strategic initiatives and short- and long-term goals.
Resource Allocation:
Leads short- and long-term operational resource planning and allocation for their region including manpower, warehousing, and equipment, resulting in productivity increases, quality improvement, and cost reduction.
Sales Strategy:
Works collaboratively with senior leadership to identify, assess, and pursue priority client/end market targets, and supports regional new business development and enhancing ongoing relationships with clients.
Customer Service:
Focused on continuous improvement of customer service and support as well as the quality of our services provided.
Training & Development:
Supports the Training & Development initiatives and ensures that their regional offices are completing/exceeding all assigned curriculum.
Internal Talent Development: M entors and supports their regional office general managers and is accountable for their on-going development as leaders, managers and mentors.
Integration:
Accountable for the integration of new operational processes as well as the onboarding of new regional offices organically or through acquisitions within their region.
What You Need to Succeed:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
7-10+ years’ high level leadership positions, including management, coaching, mentoring and supervision of leadership/manager level staff is required.
7-10+ years’ proven financial experience and responsibility, including job costing, profit, and loss responsibility, for a fully contained operation/business unit (office/branch/large project/product line).
7-10+ years’ experience in construction, operations, and/or industrial applications.
Highly developed skill in organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Intermediate use of a Windows-based computer system, including various software such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to manage multiple projects, people, job sites, or resources simultaneously.
Proficiency in project management and change management.
Knowledge of relevant industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
7-10+ years industrial services experience.
Travel Requirements
Will require frequent travel within the USA, anticipate minimum of 50%.
