Chicago, US, 60654-4916; Houston, US, 77056What You Can Expect:As our Project Developer Manager – Greenfield, you will play a key role in early-stage project development within ENGIE’s Distributed Solar and Storage (DSS) team. You will lead the origination of new greenfield projects across key DSS markets throughout the US. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to manage a small, autonomous team and drive transformational growth for the ENGIE DSS business. This position can be based in either Chicago, IL or Houston, TX and reports to the Business Development Director, Distributed Solar and Storage.What You’ll Bring:You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field.A minimum of seven (7) years of work in renewable energy or other infrastructure development.You are conscientious, empathetic, detail-oriented, highly organized, and value inclusivity and diversity within a tight-knit team dynamic.You have three (3) years of experience in renewable project development, ideally with community/distributed-scale (1-20 MW) projects and related state programs, as well as experience with real estate agreements in the context of renewable energy project development (options, leases, purchase agreements, title curative work, etc.).You are knowledgeable in proactively working beyond immediate next steps on a given task or project, juggling many tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards for quality, ethics, and accountability.You are proficient in MS Office, Google Earth Pro, and have experience with GIS and solar desktop screening tools (e.g., Anderson Optimization, Plant Predict, Helioscope, Pivvot, etc.).You are skilled at challenging assumptions, receiving and providing constructive criticism, and driving towards creative solutions.Experience in real estate.This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy.Must be available to travel domestically up to 20% of the time.Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies.Compensation:Salary Range:
$112,000 – $165,000 USD annually. This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
