Full-Time Transportation Transit & Rail Program Manager
for the Pacific Mountain West District, based out of the
Seattle, WA
office. Join our

and be part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.Provides leadership within the transit & rail sector of our organization to ensure infrastructure projects and programs are delivered successfully, to the satisfaction of our clients. Assist with providing pragmatic direction to focus engagement with clients and maintain and continue to develop our collective relationships in the industry.
Your Impact
Lead the delivery of projects and project teams for transit and rail agencies in the Pacific Northwest, and in the West Region, as an active member of the transportation team.
Support our clients and the industry through innovative thought and advancement of transportation infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with other local offices and in-house experts to provide clients with innovative and future-focused solutions.
Assist with business development efforts, strategy development, client engagement and pursuits in across the Pacific Mountain West.
Serve as key staff on pursuits: program manager, project manager, deputy project manager, technical lead, strategic advisor, etc.
Assist in writing proposals and participating in interviews in response to agency Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Represent WSP and actively participate in industry events.
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You AreRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or closely related discipline.
15+ years of relevant post education experience in transportation and infrastructure delivery.
Advanced proficiency with project delivery principles, practices, process, design/build, standard of care, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues.
Extensive advanced proficiency with infrastructure planning, environmental or design.
Demonstrated ability with establishing, implementing, and managing multiple larger-scale discipline-related programs, documents, projects, and practices for a line(s) of business.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to manage staff, and effectively, persuasively, and tactfully interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
Strategic lateral thinking and strong analytical skills with attention to detail and prioritization of responsibilities in a pressure work environment.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, clients, and company-wide staff, including those with whom no formal hierarchical relationship exists.
Strong ability to quickly adapt to change and demonstrate flexibility to a variety of schedules and hours to meet business needs.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
Engineer license (multi-state preferred).
Strong experience in managing the review and approval of documents and discipline-specific deliverables, certifications, processes, and plans in a multi-project environment is highly desirable.

Compensation:Expected Salary (all locations): $179,000 - $300,410
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
