This position seads and manages the organization's supply chain and hospital account relationships, overseeing corporate-wide supply chain processes, cost-savings initiatives, materials management efficiencies, and contract negotiations for owned, managed, and affiliate healthcare facilitiesThis is an exciting onsite role at our beautiful corporate offices located in Plano between Legacy West and Grandscape. At CHC we enjoy an outstanding work environment, comprehensive health and welfare benefits including paid fitness facility membership, tuition reimbursement, a generous PTO allowance, free covered parking, and a great company culture.The Corporate Director, Supply Chain, reporting to the VP of Strategic Accounts and Vendor Management, leads GPO compliance and conversion initiatives to maximize savings and optimize supply chain performance, while cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and vendors to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness across the supply chain.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Account & Hospital Relationship Management:Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and hospital accounts.Serve as the primary point of contact, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships and develop new strategic alliances to enhance the organization's competitive advantage.GPO & Contract Management:Spearhead GPO compliance and conversion initiatives to maximize cost savings and drive supply chain performance.Oversee the negotiation and management of contracts, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and adherence to contractual obligations.Collaborate with legal and finance teams to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership:Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the organization's overall goals and objectives.Lead the implementation of best practices for procurement, inventory management, distribution, and logistics to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain function, driving innovation and process enhancements.Operational & Logistical Oversight:Conduct regular assessments of supply chain operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Provide expert guidance and support to facility supply chain directors, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and best practices.Leverage data analytics to monitor key performance indicators and proactively address any potential disruptions or bottlenecks.Team Leadership & Development:Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.Recruit, develop, and retain top talent within the supply chain function.Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to team members, empowering them to reach their full potential.General DutiesAct as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, providing operational and technical guidance to internal stakeholders and hospital accounts on supply chain matters.Proactively manage supplier and vendor relationships, fostering open communication, driving continuous improvement, and addressing performance issues promptly.Champion a culture of collaboration and support, empowering facility supply chain directors to achieve their goals and contribute to the organization's success.Maintain a customer-centric approach, exceeding expectations and ensuring the highest level of service across all interactions.Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends, proactively adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.Embody the company's mission, vision, and values, acting as a role model for ethical conduct and professionalism.Remain flexible and adaptable, taking on additional responsibilities as needed to support the organization's evolving needs.Travel up to 25% to provide on-site support,

lead onboarding initiatives, and participate in industry events/conferences.Ability to work independentlyAbility to produce quality resultsAbility to communicate and relate well with othersCommunicates openly, respectfully, and in a timely wayShares information appropriatelyKeeps others well-informedEncourages others to share contrary viewsResponds in a timely manner to messages/requestsExpresses self well in writingPossess a strong customer and service to others orientationPossess and utilize a core set of ethical and moral valuesPossess critical thinking skillsRequirementsExperience7+ years of progressive experience in a healthcare setting, including 3+ years in a leadership role (Director of Materials Management, Purchasing, or similar) with proven success in supply chain management, account management, contract negotiation, and cost savings.EducationA bachelor's degree in business, health care administration, supply chain management, or related field is strongly preferred. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in a healthcare setting, demonstrating exceptional supply chain management, strategic account management, and contract negotiation skills, is required.Skills and KnowledgeHealthcare Supply Chain Expertise: In-depth knowledge of healthcare purchasing, products, services, inventory management, distribution, contracting, and automated systems.Account Management: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, fostering collaboration and driving mutual success.Contract Negotiation & Management: Proven success in negotiating and managing complex contracts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance.Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs): Comprehensive understanding of GPO programs, processes, and their impact on supply chain operations.Healthcare MMIS: Familiarity with multiple healthcare materials management information systems (MMIS) platforms.Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize supply chain performance.Leadership & Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Adept at identifying/resolving complex issues, and implementing effective solutions.BenefitsAt CHC we enjoy an outstanding work environment, covered parking, comprehensive health and welfare benefits including paid fitness facility membership, tuition reimbursement, a generous PTO allowance, and a great company culture.Comprehensive health and welfare benefits package is offered as part of total compensation:
