The Space and Intelligence Sector is seeking a Senior Level (12+ years) Systems Architect to work within our dynamic engineering team in Springfield or Chantilly VA. The Enterprise Engineering team supports the Government by providing Model-based systems engineering (MBSE), Architecture Engineering, Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities from the conceptual design phase and continuing throughout development life cycle phases. You will be a key member supporting NGA’s Sensor Integration (TIS) Office, providing strategic and solutions-level systems engineering support for the integration of new sensor capabilities into the Enterprise Architecture.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Developing DoDAF operational (OV), data (DIV), system (SV) and service (SvcV) view products in support of the NGA enterprise architecture.

Utilizing architecture products to shape/inform solution requirements in support of acquisition objectives.

Aligning architectures to the customer’s strategic goals/objectives (roadmaps, mission capabilities).

Performing architectural analysis and design using both structured and object techniques.

Creating new architecture designs and integrating new architectural features into existing infrastructures while maintaining the integrity and security of enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks.

Identifying system-of-system architectural needs by drilling through all layers of embedded security within the given WAN / LAN architecture.

Applying external interface requirements to architectural products; documenting external operational and system data exchanges.

QualificationsRequired:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience of 4 years with no degree and 2 years with a non-STEM degree.

12+ years of experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), or Intelligence Community’s (IC) Program Architecture Guidance (PAG).

TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.

Highly Desired:

Demonstrated proficiency with the Cameo architecture tool, or similar tools.

Experience with or in-depth understanding of MBSE.

Target Salary Range$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
