Serves as the infrastructure lead related to facility automated systems, perform baseline system support, administrative and maintenance duties for assigned systems. Troubleshoots application and system problems and takes corrective actions as directed by facilities management. Works cross-functionally to support internal project related requests alongside facilities. Assists in troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment, specifically instrumentation, controls, programmable drives, and sensors. Evaluate automated system for efficiencies and leverage building management technologies to provide energy related savings.Essential Duties:

Collaborate with Infrastructure and Engineering colleagues in the design and implementation of site related Engineering projects regarding process automation, site security, network management, and energy and HVAC control systems.Perform calibrations on equipment in the support of site related work, manufacturing equipment, and projects as needed.Manage the building automation system acting as the point of contact for concerns, and any service contracts/events/projects.Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on facility equipment including, but not limited to, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, HVAC systems, air compressors, water purification systems, refrigeration systems, etc.Follow electrical and mechanical schematics, drawings, equipment manuals and safety procedures.Respond in a timely manner to service requests.Manage multiple projects concurrently and independently, including timely communication and documentation of status updates, repair/installation issues and estimated completion time.Diagnose problems and make repairs to existing equipment, apply troubleshooting methods, replace parts and run tests to ensure equipment functionality.Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance if needed. Install new units or replace parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines.Assist Facilities Department with general building maintenance functions.Responsible for observing all Company, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.Qualifications:

B.S. in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited college with five (6-8) years of relevant experience, or associate’s degree/HS Diploma/GED, with a minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience.Experience with Siemens Building Management Systems Preferred.Knowledge of applicable regulations, and cGMP procedures preferred.Requires programing knowledge, and instrumentation/device knowledge.Strong electrical background with proven knowledge/experience of successful troubleshooting, repair, replacement and maintenance of electrical components and equipment such as drives, relays, breakers, motors, HMIs and sensors.Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring electrical schematics.Strong mechanical aptitude.Able to work on own as well as be a team player.Willing to work on-call necessary.(Where reference is made to regulatory environment requirements and/or compliance this includes all applicable regulations i.e. FDA, ISO 13485, European requirements, etc.)
