Manager (3-5 direct reports)SUMMARYWe are a leading manufacturer of high-voltage electric systems in search of an experienced Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement activities, particularly in acquiring essential materials and equipment for large-scale electrical infrastructure projects.The Procurement Manager will have these responsibilities:Oversee the procurement process for critical materials and equipment necessary for our infrastructure projects, including metals, large industrial components, power transformers, etc.Manage and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of relationship-building collaboration.Establish strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors internationally, negotiating global contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and pricing while maintaining quality standards.Develop and implement strategic procurement initiatives that ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials while maintaining supplier quality standards.Manage budget allocations for procurement, tracking expenditures to identify potential savings.Negotiate contracts with global suppliers to secure the best possible terms, focusing on long-term relationships and supply chain reliability.The Procurement Manager has the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Engineering) w/ 7-11 years of supply chain procurement experience3+ years of people management/team leadership experienceMust have recent experience in the electric utilities industryBENEFITSAnnual Bonus with Competitive 401kMedical, Dental, Vision, Life InsuranceIf you're interested in this new and innovative opportunity, please apply directly or send an email.
