Job Overview:
As a Client Support Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our agency's operations, handling a variety of tasks that ensure our clients receive superior service and support. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include addressing customer inquiries on premiums, billing, coverages, and claims, along with quoting new policies and managing administrative tasks to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support (approximately 80% of your time):
Respond promptly to client questions and concerns regarding premiums, billing, coverages, and claims.
Provide accurate information and guidance to clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met effectively.
Handle client interactions professionally and with empathy, aiming to resolve issues and maintain high satisfaction levels.
Document all client interactions and transactions accurately in our CRM system.
Quoting New Policies (approximately 15% of your time):
Prepare and present insurance quotes for new policies based on client needs and State Farm products.
Explain policy details, coverage options, and premiums clearly to potential clients.
Follow up on quotes to convert leads into policyholders and contribute to agency growth.
Administrative Tasks (approximately 5% of your time):
Send reminders for late payments and follow up with clients to ensure payments are processed in a timely manner.
Coordinate updates to client information such as changes in address or policy updates.
Communicate with corporate offices to ensure all client data is accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing client information.
A reliable team player who can consistently bring their A-game to work every day.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
A proactive attitude with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proven experience in customer service or client support with insurance companies.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other office productivity tools.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance in Illinois.
We offer a steady work schedule from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday, with no night or weekend work required. This position is in our office, located in the great location of Burr Ridge, right near I-55.
