3PL Business Development ManagerThe Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand the company's client base and drive revenue growth. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong sales skills, a deep understanding of the 3PL logistics industry, and the ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment and possess a strategic mindset with a proactive approach to generating new business.

Responsibilities:Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics sector, including potential clients and partnerships.Client Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and drive revenue growth, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential and existing clients, to ensure long-term partnerships and repeat business.Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities.Proposal Development: Create and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the company’s capabilities and value proposition.Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with new clients to secure business deals and ensure mutually beneficial agreements.Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategic business plans aimed at achieving growth objectives.Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on business development activities, including lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue performance.Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services to new clients.
Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the 3PL logistics industry.Proven track record of successful business development and sales performance.Strong negotiation and closing skills.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic business plans.Strong organizational and time management skills.Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a proactive attitude.
