By delivering scalable and flexible programmatic innovation, we improve outcomes for our customers while championing a vibrant and transparent digital advertising supply chain.Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Director of IT to manage all aspects of PubMatic's internal IT operations. In this role, you will lead a talented team of 8 (4 direct reports) IT professionals spread across 4 locations, to drive IT strategies that support PubMatic's global operations. You will ensure the integrity and performance of the company’s IT systems, from infrastructure to software, while maintaining a proactive approach toward innovation and security.This position will be critical in enabling PubMatic’s growing global workforce to perform at the highest levels of productivity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to customer-first service, a bias towards action, and a strong drive for integrity in IT management.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the internal IT team, ensuring optimal team performance and career development for direct reports and broader IT staff.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective technical IT solutions.Oversee the SaaS application procurement and architecture for different verticals like Marketing, Sales, Finance, IT, Security etc.Manage IT incidents, conduct regular IT risk assessments, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Oversee Corporate network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity, performance, and security.Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and strategies that align with business objectives and ensure the efficient operation of all IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud-based infrastructure.Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of IT systems across global office locations, supporting a hybrid work model.Oversee incident management and troubleshooting, ensuring timely resolutions and effective communication with key stakeholders.Manage vendor relationships, procurement of hardware and software, and contracts to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.Drive innovation in IT infrastructure and processes, keeping up to date with industry trends and integrating new technologies that improve system efficiency and security.Lead efforts in risk management, including IT audits, compliance, and disaster recovery planning.Collaborate with other departments and leadership to understand business needs and deliver IT solutions that enhance productivity and user satisfaction.Monitor and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective technology investments while prioritizing operational excellence.Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement across the IT team.Qualifications and Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, including SaaS applications, API Integrations, networks, cloud platforms, and endpoint management.Proven experience with Office365/Azure and OKTA, including MDM solutions (Kandji, Jamf, InTune and Kaseya).Experience with automating IT and cross-functional processes.Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.8+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.Strong expertise in managing IT operations for a global or multi-location organization.Proven track record in leading teams, developing talent, and fostering an inclusive, collaborative team culture.In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, network security, and system architecture.Experience with vendor management, IT budgeting, and strategic planning.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership and stakeholders.Passionate about technology with a commitment to continuous learning and innovation.Benefits:
