ABOUT THE ROLE:The Manager, Automation is expected to demonstrate the following skills/experience: hands-on skills in data management and data visualization, quantitative data analysis, problem solving, statistical modeling, AI/Machine learning, and the ability to develop/analyze business cases. Strong ability to design, customize and maintain platforms for investment, business intelligence and user access. Excellent oral and written communication skills, client focus, and the ability to support and enable teamwork. Self-motivated and able to operate independently with limited guidance and direction.YOUR IMPACT:Analyze complex, high-volume data sets from multiple sources to identify trends and generate data insights to drive business KPIs and solve business problems.Provide ongoing analytical support utilizing data management and technology to address business issues regarding media and advertising.Translate business needs into technical requirements including data structuring, data modeling, and data visualization.Define QA guidelines and build dashboards to monitor data quality.Build Azure data pipelines to ingest data from multiple sources (APIs, Data Warehouse, Cloud storage accounts, Emails, etc.).Create dashboards in Tableau, set up row-level security in data, and provide access permission to client teams.Manage project timelines and deliverable schedules and share concerns about deliverables, timelines, and issues with senior management.Manage and mentor analysts on the projects to ensure excellence and professional development.YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. MS degree in Computer Science or Statistics is preferred.2+ years related work experience in designing robust, reusable, and scalable data solutions and pipeline frameworks to automate ingestion, processing, and delivery of large volumes of data and building machine learning models to answer key business driving questions.3+ years related work experience in the media and advertising industry preferred.Experience in Cloud-based environments: Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS.Expertise in MDM, Metadata Management, Data Quality, and Business Intelligence.Strong skills in SQL and proven experience working with at least one of the major database platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau for data analysis and presentation.Fluency in advanced analytics software packages (R, Python, etc.).Comprehensive understanding of media metrics: Media (e.g., buying models, CPV, VCR, GRP), Measurement analytics, Quantitative business measures (LTV, NPV, ROI, Churn, etc.), Statistics (Correlations, sample sizing, etc.).Proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, and QA-focused.Experience with media data is a must-have.Life at GroupM
