This includes recruitment and retention, quality programming, fiscal management, data management, evaluation and grant compliance of Out of School Time programs, Community School partnerships, and other youth development initiatives. The Associate Executive Director works in collaboration with funders, schools, communities, and internal Y stakeholders while demonstrating Y core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility in all the following key result areas:QualityRevenue GrowthTalent Acquisition and RetentionP/L ManagementVolunteer RelationsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assist Executive Director with developing short and long term goals that support Association goals and ensure the growth, quality, and service delivery of the school partnerships product line.Directly supervise, develop and evaluate Out of School Time & Community School Directors within a region.Serve as the Y liaison to school districts in support of school district strategies that align with Y programming.Collaborate with external evaluator(s) to develop program metrics and systems for data collection and reporting.Oversee development, operations and outcome measurement of youth development programs; assure grant fidelity.Manage community and school partnerships.Develop and maintain working relationships with internal Y staff across the organization.Maintain a system of internal controls to monitor the financial activity of grant programs and activities; assist in developing budgets.Identify potential funding sources and collaborations to enhance programs; Assist in development of grant proposals.Lead by example; interact with a high level of professionalism and accountability.Attend Associate meetings, trainings, and association required events.Perform other duties as assigned.The Y in Central Maryland provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment.
