Steampunk
is seeking a Project Manager
who is creative and is a hands-on expert with delivering innovative technology solutions. Youwill work with stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and requirements. Working with our team's Technical Lead, youwill ensure that any designs align with our client's objectives.One of your key functions isto learn how things worked in the past, present data about how things are now, and show how it can improve by creating assets such as system maps and diagrams.
Contributions
Responsibilities will include team leadership for the complete life cycle of solution development and delivery, providingAgile Project Management support and Scrum Master support for Agile teams, coordinating with product owners and stakeholders on prioritzing the backlog, creating release schedules and roadmaps based on assessment recommendations, andestablishing technical practices and release management standards that align with the customer's process. This individual will also ensure the team is following, and effective at, Agile scrum processes as well as driving high client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Required:Authorized to work for any U.S. employee andability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance4+ years managing IT projects using agile methodologies and approaches4+ year experience with Scrum/Kanban Methodologies4+ years hands-on experience in a Business Analyst role.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to establish immediate credibility with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals through influenceAbility to help teams write user stories/epics, identify dependencies, and design optimal solutionsFlexibility to work with teams, individuals and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and peopleExcellent interpersonal/communication skillsExperience working in a studio / human centered design approachPreferred:PMP or PMI CAPM preferredCertified Scrum Master
