We are seeking engineering talents with expertise in designing/developing RF/Microwave SiP Acoustic Filter design expertise in the concept, design, integration, and delivery of complex multichip, multi-technology RFIC-based wireless module solutions. As part of the Module Design Team, you will be participating in developing cutting-edge, state-of-the-art PA, RF switches, LNAs, and front-end modules for Automotive and IoT applications to enable the industry transformation to the next generation super data highway.Responsibilities:
Design of BAW-based duplexers, quadplexers, and other filters for broad market applicationsDesign of evaluation boards and RF modules or portions thereof for optimal filter performanceElectromagnetic modeling of filters in their module environmentFilter integration into front end modulesLaying out photo masks and completing necessary documentation for filter fabricationAssembling, measuring, de-embedding, and reporting on the performance of filters and filter modulesParticipating in and conducting design reviewsBAW Stack developmentQualifications:The candidate should be experienced in BAW filter design.They must understand basic device physics, have the ability to develop and use advanced modeling techniques to design filters, understand design tradeoffs, and be able to translate between the model, simulation, physical implementation, and the measured performance of a device. This entails strong skills in EM and RF simulation tools such as HFSS, Cadence, ADS, AWR, etc., and fluency in RF device characterization techniques and associated test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, etc.This person must have good communication skills, be well organized, be able to break down complex problems, set priorities, report progress, and execute to a schedule.Experience in module integration and multiplexing is a plus. Periodic online meetings with our international team are required.An BSEE and 5+ years' experience or an MSEE and 3+ years' experience or a Ph.D. and 0+ years' experience with a focus on RF, SAW, BAW.The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $139,100 - $278,300 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
