What you'll be doingAs a Director – Internal Audit Senior Audit Manager, you'll focus on leading the Risk Commercial Banking / Credit Risk Internal Audit team, conducting audits in areas such as Commercial Lending, Commercial Real Estate, and Credit Risk. You will be responsible for the development and execution of a risk-based audit plan that addresses the significant risks relevant to a Lending and Credit Portfolio. You will develop strong relationships with our risk management business partners to obtain an understanding of the risks facing the organization and stay close to new developments impacting the business.

You’re a certified professional. You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and possess a Professional certification such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or other relevant certifications.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $150,000 - $180,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
