You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. This position is based in Eden Prairie, MN and hybrid work is preferred but fully remote within the US is possible.

Primary Responsibilities:

Will play a critical role in supporting the Sales Finance team in planning, reporting, and paying commissions. The position will also work on key financial deliverables related to forecasting, sales target/reporting, and month end close responsibilitiesLead Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Commission payout process which will include working with Finance and Sales counterparts to understand strategies, initiatives, priorities, cost drivers, benefits, and variancesDevelop tools, models, and processes to execute multiple commission plans and provide critical financial and operational information to Sales and Finance Leaders.Prepare meaningful and decision enabling reporting to Sr. Management that clearly articulates key drivers and suggest action plansPerforming ad-hoc analysis to enhance decisions and improve profitabilityContinually develop and refine Compensation modeling, process improvements and other data modelsCollaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales Operations, Finance, Growth Office, Payroll in conjunction with forecasting, and reporting processEngage with internal affiliates and business partnersYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications:

BS/BA degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Management or a related field or experience in similar area of work3+ years of experience performing financial and variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and preparing financial reportsAdvanced level of proficiency working with ExcelExperience building allocation/automated modelsExperience with analytical, quantitative, interpersonal, communication and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:

Tableau and/or related applications such as Power BI experienceLarge matrix organization experienceExperience with large data set with complex matrix environmentSelf-motivated to work independently and be a team playerCollaborative and flexible working style, with a solid service mentalityDemonstrated ability to work with others and communicate effectively (both verbal and written)Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate dataMature and proactive, with evidence of having worked as a true business partner

The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
