Manager of QA & Automation , you will be responsible for creating, managing, and growing the overall QA strategy. You will also possess and utilize technical skills and capabilities to create and maintain test cause automation for various key platforms and products. You will work closely with leadership in defining, managing, and monitoring the overall automation approach to grow the testing process, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing & setting the Automation roadmap. You will be challenged to wear multiple hats both in driving strategy and building automation suites.Ensure the highest product quality by establishing and implementing best practices in alignment with automation industry standards.Work with cross-functional teams to understand the product vision & requirements and provide support for creating more robust automation test coverage.Responsible for maximizing the development and use of automation to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and continuous delivery for both existing and new initiatives.Oversee the preparation, timely execution, and distribution of automation plans, progress reporting, and quality metrics.Responsible for managing automation execution timelines and ensuring follow through on the creation of appropriate test reports with a focus on optimizing coverage for every release.Responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives for applications that have existing automation suitesAnticipate organizational and technical issues and provide detailed analysis, projections, and post-mortems.Define monthly/quarterly targets for the Automation team and provide KPIs & overall status to relevant stakeholders.Manage the automation test suite including creating automation tests across multiple platforms and products.Lead multiple QA team efforts to build and maintain test case repositories.Other duties as required.

Must be at least 21 years of age.Degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent knowledge and/or experience.Possesses a deep understanding of quality assurance practices and has a track record of releasing applications on time.Establishing and implementing the quality standards for products or services.Accomplishes quality assurance objectives by monitoring, reviewing, and enforcing policies and procedures.Trains and motivates employees to ensure that quality standards are met.Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes.Demonstrated effective leadership, time management, risk assessment, and analytical skills.Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams toward task completion.Collaborate effectively with team members and others in organization to resolve testing issues.Facilitate the decomposition of business requirements, into Use Cases and Acceptance Criteria.Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Thorough understanding of testing strategies focusing on both frontend and backend for a microservice client & server architecture.Experience developing automated tests for applications using Selenium & TestNG and OOP concepts.Experience using version control (Git), defect tracking systems (JIRA) and test case management & specifications (qTest).Experience with continuous integration systems (Jenkins).Participate in all SCRUM events, including Backlog Grooming, Spring Planning, daily stand-up and Sprint Review.Holds experience including:8+ Years Test Automation Quality Assurance experience testing SaaS technology8+ Years SDLC in an Agile / SCRUM environment4+ Years QA Leadership experienceTest Case Management, Defect Tracking and Quality ReportingAgile Software TestingContinuous DeliveryMain Tools Used & Preferred Tool SetTest Management Tools: Selenium IDE, MAVEN, Postman, qTest, TestRail, Cucumber Appium, KotlinLanguages: Java, Groovy, Python,Atlassian: Jira, Confluence.MacOS, iOS, Android, Chrome.Sauce Labs, BrowserStack, Jenkins, Circle CI, App Center and Github.Jenkins scripted pipelines, yaml, bash.Web/HTTP Proxy tools such as Charles Proxy, REST-assured, k6.io.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
