HR Generalist
will be responsible for managing the daily functions of the Human Resource department, including enforcing company policies, practices, management of employee compensation, benefits, and leaves. General duties include but not limited to employee relations consultation, compliance issues, personnel file management, project work, and benefit administration.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide general administrative HR support to all employeesSupports daily HR system maintenance, verification requests, merit increases, title changes, supervisory access, etc.Assists with employee leave administration including but not limited to BWC, ADA, FMLA, Medical/Disability, Personal etc.Assist Leadership Team with HR matters, coach and counsel employees regarding career development, performance improvement, disciplinary actions, etc.Manages ongoing unemployment claims and DOL reportingPrepares and evaluates metric reports concerning headcount, turnover, employee data reporting, etc.Maintain employee personnel filesEvaluates and improves policies and procedures in alignment with company growth strategiesAssist with benefit administrationAssist with implementation and coordination of employee engagement events and companywide eventsAssists in annual performance review implementation and processBack up support for recruitment as neededAll other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED, bachelor's degree in human resources preferred1-3 years HR Generalist experienceExperience with HR software or Microsoft office products, a plusMust have strong attention to detail and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to provide coaching and counseling to all levels of an organizationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong abilities to work in a team environment
