The Hoover - Braun Team of Wealth Enhancement located in Malvern, PA has an opportunity for a Seasonal Tax Preparer will support and deliver the timely and accurate processing of tax returns that are contracted through the Wealth Enhancement Tax & Consulting Services (WETCS).
This work assignment will be from January 1, 2025 to April 15, 2025. This is a temporary full-time position.**
Primary Job Functions
Tax Preparation and PlanningPrepare tax returns and related work papers for high-net-worth families and their related business and legal entities using Inuit's ProSeries Professional and SmartVault tax integration software
The primary focus of this role will be with individual (1040), trust/estates (1041), and gift (709) tax returns
Identification of tax planning opportunities and integration into comprehensive financial plans (e.g. retirement accounts recommendations and set up) Conduct tax research
Foster Teamwork & Sharing Culture
Maintain relationships with wealth management teams and their shared clients
Contribute towards a sharing culture
Act as subject matter expert to internal support teams
Be prepared to join meetings 'ad hoc' to support tax work for wealth management teams
Drive productivity | Revenue Increases
Identify iterations in current processes and applications to enhance productivity, timeliness, and delivery of tax services
Identify additional revenue opportunities for both teams
Utilize region specific knowledge to drive targeted marketing messages
Continued Learning on relevant skills and trends | Job Knowledge
Daily review and communication of material applicable tax law changes
Maintain fluency in all tax related software programs
Study and research current trends in industry
Maintenance of continuing education requirements for professional certifications
Education | Qualifications
BS in accounting or relevant experience
5+ years in tax return preparation experience
