Role Summary

Production Test Engineers (PTEs) are part of a manufacturing team who apply a variety of engineering and problem-solving skills to communicate, implement, maintain, and optimize safe & effective production test environments and processes. They utilize data analysis and Root Cause Corrective Action methodologies to maximize test yield, efficiency, and value. They influence test strategies, architectures, systems, and transition to production. They validate and ensure compliance of the prime hardware to technical data package requirements and supporting test equipment.

**Please Note: This position is located at the Raytheon Din Facility in Farmington, NM. RTX- Din Facility adheres to the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act in areas of recruitment and hiring practices.

What You Will Do:Validate new or modified test equipment for production useEnsure the operation of test equipment and associated work instructions are accurateEnsure test equipment and software meet the test requirements specified for the productMonitor and improve the test process through analysis of predictive metrics of trends, failure modes, and test yieldsPerform preliminary investigation of problem resolutionDevelop test flows and contribute to test capacity analysisMaintain changes to the test equipment technical data package which includes drawings, test instructions, test position manuals, and system softwareAssist in non-routine fault isolation, diagnosis and repair of the product or test equipmentLead root cause and corrective action investigations and present findingsProvide technical training in both product and test equipment to production test specialists and metrology personnel.Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). Preferred degrees: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Optical Engineering, PhysicsFive (5) years of relevant experienceExperience in advanced electronics/electrical engineering, or basic mechanical engineering, or basic computer programmingExperience with interpretation of technical documentationExperience with project executionExperience with data analysisAbility to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Clearance (ATF).Qualifications We Prefer:

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
