As a CNDA, you will:Use information collected from a variety of sources to identify and analyze vulnerabilities and report potential or actual events.Identify, analyze, map, and/or protect against vulnerabilities, intrusions, and threats to computer network systems.You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Degree Requirements:
Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or Computer Security).Note that 18 semester hours of military training/coursework in networking, computer science, or cyber topics is equivalent to an associate's degree.Specific Experience:
Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering.Completion of military training in a relevant area such as Joint Cyber Analysis Course (JCAC), Undergraduate Cyber Training, Network Warfare Bridge Course/intermediate Network Warfare Training, and Cyber Defense Operations.Education and Experience:
Entry level positions require an Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience. Higher positions require up to and including an Associate's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 11 years of relevant experience OR a Master's Degree and 9 years of relevant experience.Pay Range:
$120,000-$260,000The BTS pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
