In the role of Traffic Engineer, we'll count on you to:Perform complex traffic engineering projects, exercise sound engineering judgment, preparation of traffic signal plans, traffic impact analysis reports and PS and E documents.Make decisions on design and engineering procedures as needed.Function as technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects, but project management is not sole focus of this position.Supervise small staff of professionals and technicians as needed.Perform other duties as needed.Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years experience with traffic analysis and traffic engineering/design.Required Qualifications

Experience with traffic analysis and traffic engineering/design.Professional Engineer (PE) license.Detailed hands-on experience conducting traffic design using CAD platforms including MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Guide Sign software.Detailed hands-on experience conducting operational analysis using a variety of analysis and modeling tools specific to support job duties, including HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, and Aimsun.Detailed hands-on experience conducting safety analysis using a variety of safety software tools including Highway Safety Software.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture is a must.What We Believe
