HDR Engineering is looking for a Transmission Line EIT to join our growing and nationally ranked team of Power Delivery professionals in our Denver, CO office.

The primary duties of the EIT include the execution of the technical aspects & deliverables for their assigned projects. The EIT will be expected to learn and grow into the role where they will be able to complete the technical requirements of transmission line projects of basic to moderate complexity. The EIT will be assigned tasks and mentored by senior staff team members.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:Performing PLS-CADD modeling and/or calculationsPerform routine engineering and design tasksParticipate in field reviews or construction observationPerform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:EIT certification strongly preferred. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progressionStrong written and verbal communication skillsPrevious experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm desiredSome field work and travel may be requiredPreference will be given to local candidatesExperience using PLS-CADD, structure analysis, project cost estimates, plan and profile preparation, optimization, specifications and drawings, and other engineering documents required for power transmission line projectsNational Electrical Safety Code (NESC) knowledge

Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in EngineeringAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
