The base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.The Senior Manager, IT Application Support manages or leads a team of IT professionals in providing a range of application support and services ensuring enterprise operating standards are met and business objectives are achieved.Depth & Scope:Responsible for managing multiple, broad and highly complex teams and/or projects which are diverse in scopeSets direction at an operational level, works autonomously in the management of the unit and collaborates with other business heads to establish and execute on common goalsDirects/manages large-scale applications/systems/projects across multiple product lines/businesses, involving significant scope and complexityDirects/manages a large group (e.g., up to 50) of IT professionalsUnderstands strategic direction (including financials) and champions alliances to benefit the Bank, advocates for operational improvements to enhance value to the organizationDirects the development of resolutions, plans and strategies for operational advancementKey contact internally and externallyEducation & Experience:Undergraduate degree or Technical CertificateGraduate degree, preferred10+ years relevant experiencePreferred Qualifications:5+ years of demonstrated technical experience with Cloud Technologies & FrameworksWindows/Red hat Linux Server operating systems/SQL or Oracle DatabaseJava or .NET application experienceRetail Banking Technology experienceBanking Regulation Understanding5+ years of demonstrated leadership behaviors with Building, maturing & empowering teamsIdentifying process improvement & leading associated changeAbility to successfully deliver competing priority itemsProven success in self-managing roles with minimal supervisionWho We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
