Merit is located in Warren, Michigan. We've poured over 15 million products and served over 13 million end users. Our continued growth has forced us to move locations 3 times in the last 3 years, and while we don't expect to need a new warehouse soon, we aren't planning to slow down.

Summary of the Position:
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for unloading and receiving trucks at our main facility, transferring products and components between facilities, and keeping our warehouse organized on a day to day basis. You will report to our warehouse manager and help with special projects, like preparing for audits.
The Shipping Coordinator needs to be an excellent forklift driver and proficient with computers.
Manually create packing list/manifest sheetAbility to work with other departments to coordinate & stage products leaving our facilityMust be proficient with Excel, Word, and OutlookTracking shipments & resolving any delays or other issues that may ariseReach Truck & Pallet Jack experience is a mustAssist with loading & unloading materialsDocument all bill of laidings (BOL's)Accurately cycle count inventoryThis position will be cross trained in other departments to assist in other departments when neededThis is a 40 hour per week position with standard daily shifts from 9:00am-6:00pm. Daily schedules are open to change and flexibility is required.
