This role will be responsible for executing new process excellence frameworks, templates, and ways of working with the teams to ensure excellence in execution. The Associate Director, Project Management will work collaboratively across all Medical Affairs functions, as well as, cross-functionally to ensure an aligned, synergistic Insmed approach. The Associate Director, Project Management will be an integral member of medical brand teams supported.

Responsibilities:Strategic and Tactical Planning

Facilitate and coordinate the processes to create medical strategies and priorities, and tactical plans aligned to strategy in partnership with Medical Affairs functions. Ensure executional measurements are included to evaluate the success of tactics and strategies.

Launch Readiness -

Drive the process for medical launch readiness planning, reviews, tracking and reporting.Operational and Executional Excellence

Drive the implementation of Process Excellence standards within Medical Affairs brand teams. Coordinate and facilitate ongoing medical affairs brand team meetings and drive optimal meeting hygiene to deliver efficiency and effectiveness. Track project milestones and overall brand plan progress. Provide project management support and expertise for selected tactics based on complexity and importance to the plan.Knowledge Management

Content preparation and consolidation for Medical Affairs brand team meetings, annual planning process, and launch process in partnership with line function leaders. Own distribution of content and management of documents to ensure ease of access.Budget Management

Manage annual budget planning in collaboration with functional leaders and finance. Proactive evaluation and identification of risks/opportunities.Stakeholder Management

Work collaboratively across all functions within Medical Affairs. Close connection to Medical Process Excellence required to implement new processes across supported teams. Close collaboration with Finance on budget management. Provide clear direction on processes, deliverables, timelines, etc. Drive and advocate new ways of working across the teams.Reporting

Consolidate metrics, status updates, and reporting for supported brands for communication to various forums and platforms.Project Support

Provide project management support and expertise across ad-hoc projects as needed by the business.Solution Oriented

Identify business challenges surfaced in core brand meetings and other forums and facilitate the transition into actions/projectsInnovation

Implement best-in-class project management tools and processes into the Insmed ways of working.Job Requirements:

Bachelors or equivalent 4-Year University degree required, other advanced degree preferredPMP (Project Management Professional) certification desirablePrior experience in Pharmaceutical project management required (5-7 years), with experience in Medical AffairsPrior experience in launch planning and executionStrong knowledge of Medical Affairs processes and understanding of key activities required. Understanding of functions across the Pharmaceutical industry.Global experience or experience in multiple regions an advantageAbility to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and functionsAbility to influence and drive without authorityProven track record of leading process and operational excellenceForward looking with continuous process improvement mentalityStrong attention to detail and ability to organize and manage multiple prioritiesStrong strategic thinking with ability to connect multiple componentsProven track record of effectively driving changeExcellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), Advanced skills in project management tools and Excel, Word, PowerpointEnables creative problem solving, encourages unique solutions, and effectively solves challenges problems

Travel Requirements:Up to 20% travelSalary Range:$147,000 - $206,333 a year
