The Opportunity:

As a Geospatial Engineer supporting the Analysis Geospatial Information Systems (AGIS) Release Train on the SAFFIRE program you'll have the opportunity to Collaborate with other developers and teams to establish an enterprise GIS tool suite for the IC utilizing COTS, FOSS, and GOTS software. Collaborate on the integration of capabilities from different systems. Contribute to the design, development, testing and integration of our suite of tools. Responsibilities:

CACI's SAFFIRE team is at the forefront of developing and operating state-of-the-art Geospatial Intelligence analysis software. The SAFFIRE team builds and maintains an exceptionally powerful platform that enables our users to address challenging real-world problems by converting disparate data into actionable information. The team is deeply passionate about its mission and takes tremendous pride in our work. We work directly with operational users to design, develop, and maintain capabilities that empower analysts to create actionable intelligence from the massive volumes of Geospatial Intelligence data to give our intel and combat organizations the decision advantage over our near-peer adversaries. We seek a passionate Geospatial Engineer to help manage critical Intelligence solutions for our NGA customers as part of the SAFFIRE program. You will be a vital element, working closely with users, our user support team, and CACI's development teams to ensure that systems supporting our country's national security remain available to their user base. Qualifications:

Required:

5+ years of experience developing with modern languages such as: Python, Ruby, Java, or JavaScript with a B.S./B.A degree or equivalent experience. Experience managing enterprise GIS infrastructure such as ArcGIS Enterprise and/or FOSS based geospatial solutions such as Geoserver or Mapserver. Operational and configuration experience with ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Portal, Geodatabases, and other extensions to the ArcGIS Baseline. Solid understanding of GIS Web Services such as ArcGIS REST Services or OGC services (WMS, WFS, WCS, WPS). Demonstrated experience using rapid prototyping and Agile based software development methodologies. Desired:

Working knowledge of geospatial data formats (vector and raster) Understanding of machine learning concepts Experience with development in microservice based architectures. Understanding of web application development concepts Demonstrated experience developing and implementing software enhancements to mission systems in other Government agencies. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Kafka AWS experience Demonstrated experience with continuous integration and software CM processes / tools (Subversion, GIT, JIRA, Confluence) Demonstrated experience with infrastructure as code applications (Chef, Ansible, Terraform, etc.) Certifications: AWS Certification (Developer, DevOps and/or, Architect, etc.) and Security+ Certification

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $74,600-$156,700
